BCRanger, did you ever replace any suspension components? If not, you should do the rears. Huge improvement in stability and confidence, for a very small cost and DIY effort.
Nope, was waiting until after spring when we didn't need truck and have some $ to splurge. Though now is when we need the suspension, lol. I will report back when we do.

BTW, I passed an F-150 the other day on my way up. TBF he had a big sled (snowmobile for non-Canadians, lol) in back though otoh that should have helped weight wise.

... the ...front end link upgrade settled down sway front specially hitting bumps at highway speed. i read in my race suspension book , your suspension is setup to operate best at the geometry in which no force is being exerted besides weight of vehicle. Your suspension works to counter the forces and work to get back to the sweet spot of the geometry. The factory cheesy front end links (by comparison to upgrade links) do not do enough work to counter those forces, upgraded links also make turning feel to be more reactive. Problem is factory links are $15 dollars and already on your truck , upgraded links are $150 I think. Not everyone needs better links.
I'm one of 'those people' who'd like to refine all aspects of my Ranger and was intrigued by your comment on the front end links. Having crawled under my truck examining the suspension I totally expect stronger/stiffer end links to change some aspect of handling (I'm 2WD) and with a complete lack of stiffer sway bar bushings it seems like the next best thing. I've bookmarked some end links on one vendor's website, which ones did you get?

I'm not going to read through the whole thread to see what others have said, but I bet shocks would make a huge difference in how you feel about the handling of the truck! I put the Eibach ProTruck kit on my Ranger (Struts and springs up front, shocks out back) and it went from a bouncy, wallowing mess to almost sportscar like. I still got some squalling noise on some fast, twisty mountain roads when trying to keep up with my buddy's Mustang, but for everyday driving, it is soooooooooo much more composed! And that's with a 3.75" lift up front and a lot of weight onboard!

I have the same issues. so I have to drive it slower. still waiting on e-mails for my lift and shocks. till then, the truck is in the shop today to get new tires. hopefully that will help me. I hit some loose gravel a few months ago on a curve and almost wiped my truck out. I went with E rated tires because the stock tires going around a curve to me you could feel the sidewall give.

Haven’t been on in a while , added a rear sway bar and the truck feels great and handles great, with the fox leveling kit and one inch block in the rear, upgraded front sway bar links and most importantly set of Michelin LTX A/T
