so i’ve been kicking the idea around about building another camper. i’ve built teardrops and those are actually really easy and make decent money selling them (because that’s the fad now)
i want to build something like the 4wheel campers m type. not a full slide in, but a cap essentially with a pop top. (might skip the pop top.but it will be designed for it for future addition.
i want to keep it light, say sub 200.
aluminum is a pain to work with so the structure be steel-1” 16ga box tubing. with the base out of 14ga. then skin it in aluminum, insulate, so forth.
anyone done anything similar? i need some ideas. i been scanning overland sites and getting a lot, but some of those go apeshit and seem to have more money than brains.
