I purchased the Lariat version of the Clearview mirrors. I installed the mirrors today and they appear to be very good but, if you have the Eagle 4x4 autofold mirror module, you may lose it. Shortly after installing the mirrors and having them fold in and out a few times while doing some errands. I smelled a familiar burning smell. Worked with electronics for about 30 years. To say the least, the mirrors stopped working and would not unfold. The autofold module protected the fuse (it didn't blow ?)! Not sure what the motor current draw to fold the Clearview mirrors compared to the factory mirrors is. Clearview doesn't have a clue either. Removed the autofold connector and put it back to its original configuration. The mirror button on the dash is working and I was able to unfold the mirrors.
Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to let others know, if they decide to purchase these mirrors what might happen if you have the Eagle 4x4 autofold mirror module. It has worked fine with the factory mirrors for the last 2 1/2 years. Haven't read anywhere if anyone else had this issue with these mirrors.
