Got my fox 2.0 struts and a 4 day weekend ?

Im all ready to install however I havnt been able to find any specifications on torquing the ball joints and strut mounts back to factory... all the videos online and the instructions just say “torque to factory spec”... anyone see any posts or know where I can find specs??

Also,, does anyone know if the fox 2.0s are pre-adjusted for leveling, or will I have to measure and adjust as necessary?

before and after pics will be posted!

thanks

I noticed in this video he didn’t remove the axle nut for the installation .. I’m also thinking about not removing the nut.. because I don’t have a replacement for it, and also I have no way of torquing it back to 200+ pounds.. I’ll just be really careful not to let is droop down, I’m thinking about using tie wire to keep the rotor and everything up right.. I know it’s going to be a pain in the ass

Kit doesn't come with everything you need?

My kit is at the dealer who is doing this on Wednesday.

it may have a new axle nut included.. but either way, I don’t have the means to remove and reinstall It. I think it needs to be torqued back to 215lbs.. it looks like if you’re careful, you can leave it in place..

I don’t trust my local dealer ☹

? some dealers are awesome.. it’s hit and miss.. my heater went out in my ranger.. they won’t give me a loaner car Or a ride and told me to leave my truck with them until they get to it.. terrible customer service, especially for a truck under warranty with a broken heater.. it’s probably lt a 2 hour job to fix

Ugh. I had a loaner for the mustang for over FIVE months. Took Ford that long to ship the new short block. I didn't even buy the car there - closest dealer to me is much like yours...

Short version: Oil consumption. 2018 bought new.

From the first month of ownership, it was consuming oil. Approximately 1 quart every 1,000-1,500 miles. After months of consumption tracking, the dealer I bought it from blew me off and lied to me telling me that the GT was a "Ford Performance Vehicle" and up to 1qt every 500 was normal. Told me they contacted Ford when they didn't and did not follow Ford oil consumption test procedures. These idiots would have me waiting 2 to 3 hours while they checked my oil level.

Several months later I decided to take it to another dealer 30 miles away who diagnosed it to the short block and repaired it - they got the sale on the Ranger and the Fox kit / work.
