Top of engine... What are these and any concern?

Went to change spark plugs today and noticed these two plugs directly to the front of the spark plugs. Oil residue surrounds the inset cylinders they attach to. I've tried searching engine diagrams and such but no luck. So yeah... What are these and should I be concerned at all about a little residue around them??

Cam phaser solenoids. You can replace those seals if you really want to. I’d just buy a new valve cover.

Mine had some residue since day one, up until I traded in at 16k. Nothing to be concerned about.

You might carefully be able to get them out without pulling the valve cover, just be very careful not to break the solenoids
