To those that mounted a Kicker hideaway sub......How?

Stupid question I know, but how did you physically mount the unit? Has anyone mounted the larger 10" version? Thanks in advance guys and gals!

I used this box,drops right in.Bought it used,but believe it can be had from E-bay

It drops in on the passenger side under the Seat on a crew cab.

It’s a shallow Kicker,but hits nice.I’m feeding it with a Rockford 400W rms amp.

New 2021 FX2 owner here. I really want to go with the 8" powered Kicker Hideaway sub (vs. say the smaller 6x8 Kenwood). My crude measurements leave me in doubt. Does it fit without any carpet cutting? Where does the jack go?

Also curious, if it's a tight fit, is the bass very much muffled by the seat back?

Glad to hear you like it. I've had thr box for a while. Just need to get the sub and amp ordered to install. Did you use any polyfill?

I did,and also wrapped the box with good sound deadener as it is not very thick and will flex.Wrapping it greatly improved the bass,made it hit much harder.
