Lol.. I remember when FM and stereo radios came out…. The B&O system I have is light years worth of audio improvements… no upgrades or changes needed here.. seems like a solution looking for a problem..

I didn't have the B&O system, and I wanted more punch. I upgraded everything with Kicker speakers in the doors and tweeters up front. Bought everything through Crutchfield and they also have lifetime tech support. I don't have a how to install but its pretty straight forward. Power wire to battery, ground wire to chassis, and I tapped into the left and right rear speaker wires under the kick panels.

A good aftermarket system is almost always FAR better than the best factory system.

The high trim factory systems usually use cheap speakers that are EQed out the yin yang to sound good.

There are maybe some exceptions but every time I've pulled a factory Bose, JBL, Rockford Fosgate, HK, or Infinity speaker I've been less than impressed with the quality.

Edit: I've never looked at the B&O system in the Ranger but it appears that they are following the same formula with cheap speakers/lots of EQ.

I installed almost my whole set up just to find out that I have to wait until they release a ‘21 head unit wire harness until I can hear it completed?‍. Idk why they changed pin outs from 20-21. Whhhhhack, but I guess at least the majority of my work is completed ?.
