Off road tires are exempt. So are racing tires.
From what I have read so far, for off road you will need a second set of wheels and tires to swap when you get to off road areas, or you could trailer it. Cameras will catch unapproved tires on public roads and it will cost you when caught. Not sure if what you have now are grandfathered in though if you can prove they were installed before this new law.

I can just see shady characters standing on street corners selling tires. black market garages and "underground" locations selling prohibited tires..........
People running to buy different size tires to store them away before their unavailable.....
Swapping tires at night to run them on streets in the dark so the cops won'r see them.......
No more "device stops" but now you'll be pulled over so they can do a tire check........if the wrong tire is found, they're impounded right there leaving your vehicle on the rims......

I seriously doubt the people voted for these politicians. The party in control has mastered stolen elections. It's not the people that chose this.
I'm assuming you are talking about voter fraud. I can see how some would be hard to control, ie, giving homeless money to fill out voter cards. Is it really widespread enough to control voting outcomes? Again, I know nothing about Cali other than what very little I care to read about. For such a beautiful state, with all it has to offer all people, I just shake my head at things like what comes up in these posts.
on voting, just moved to SC from VT, and what a difference. In VT, we hand filled out a vote card, put it in an unlocked box, (they even opened box for me). No ID, but she knows everyone in town anyway. In SC, ID required (Yes) and all done to prevent fraud, the way I think it should be.

Maybe not but I wouldn’t assume that…. There are PLENTY of hardcore lefties here that are so brainwashed they’ll continue to vote for policies/politicians that are just making things worse. All you have to do is say “free stuff” or “it’ll make you feel safer” and these people will sign their lives away without a second thought.

It’s incredibly frustrating because if you look at a voting map of the state, a large majority of CA is red. It’s the blue strongholds in Sacramento and the Bay Area that are causing the problems for everyone else here. You have a handful of cities and towns calling shots on behalf of everyone else that strongly disagrees with their policies. Conservatives in CA make up the majority of the state but they have no representation because the liberal party has the right friends in the right places.

And obviously not car/truck people. The only work they ever do on a car is put gas in it.

Blue vs Red Fraud vs Integrity Elections matter. " It doesn't matter who votes, it matters who counts the votes." And I'm not picking sides here... except for moral integrity,

They don't even do that. The government tax payers buy their gas and pay their drivers.

I agree with that, except to me, it does matter who votes. IMO, you must be a U.S. citizen, providing proof. I've read stories that requiring proof discriminates against people, which I don't understand how. it's been easy enough for this U.S. citizen to come up with proof.
