As long as Ford didn't cheap out on the Chain(it is Ford) then you should be ok especially if you stay up on the Maintenance

I think so far, it's not the timing chain that has had issues, it's the VCT System so the VCT Solenoids and the Cam Phasers they all tie together through, and it's controlled via the PCM and Oil Pressure.
But there is not a (Scheduled) maintenance interval for this system or chain, so you only need to mess with it (if you have issues)

Sid, just replace the whole engine at 150k. Worked for the transmission. Think of it as preventative maintenance.
