Time for new tires

Hello. How are you liking the tires after having them for a few months? I have my eye on them, in 255/75R17, as the time approaches to replace the 265/70R-17 GENERAL GRABBER A/TX SL tires I've been running.

I ran Destination ATs on my XJ Cherokee back in the day and I liked them a lot, they worked out great off-road, and I'm looking at the AT2 as I try to cut down on tire weight in the future...37 pounds each in place of the 55 pounds each I'm running now.

I like them a lot. I went light-ish offroading some and they were fantastic. They continue to be very quiet. I don't see significant mpg impact.

I like to got on tirerack.com Research and advice link at top pulls up ratings score for many categories by actual users.

To an extent those reviews are good. I have noticed people try to give certain remarks like "great on ice" or " makes too much noise". Mind you that could be with just about any tire on the market. I have run some of said tires and disagree since some tires are horrible on ice and u less you over inflate tye tires they dont make noise(unless its a mid terrain.... Then it sucks to be you).

The Destinations on my XJ stood up to some crazy nights of wheeling on my buddy's farm. Got out to take this pic, hopped back in, and cruised on down the "trail". Good times, haha.
