When someone tailgates me on the highway for no good reason, that's the perfect time to run my windshield washers. After all, a man's gotta see where he's going, right?. And funny thing, the car behind ends up running his too, before dropping back and/or changing lanes. Works every time.
I do this as well. It is hilarious.

Maybe its old age (I like to think its experience) but if someone wants to go faster than I am and its possible to get out of their way, I do so. I've seen too many road rage situations end badly.
Agreed... but in Houston people will do it and you have no where to go - from the right lane.

So I wash their car with wiper fluid vs anything with the brakes. It works 90% of the time.

i wont disagree....the only reason i didnt say the car driver should go to jail as well was because he didnt intentionally run someone off the road (or at least that we saw)
yes, he was an ass, but it didnt deserve the trucks response.
He deserved an accurate description and license # phoned in to the highway patrol.

the guy in the truck made every opportunity he had a dangerous one, and appears he just drove off after. his disregard for life was more apparent than asshat speeding and weaving.
obviously we don't see how the car driver was behaving before the video began. but based on my own personal experience with similar sorts of drivers, I'd call asshat speeding and weaving a pretty serious disregard for others' lives, as well. I'm not sure which one I'd place as a more serious disregard, honestly.

also, I wouldn't say that truck driver "ran the car off the road" either. the car driver was very much co-involved with running himself off the road because he was driving like an asshat with no regard for others on the road (and happened to lose a battle of physics with a larger vehicle).

truck driver continued at the end of the vid, sure, but it cut off soon enough that we actually don't know for sure who may or may not have stopped.

I agree. I don't drive slow, so if they are passing me that easily, I figure it's just less chance I'll get a ticket. :)

Not my video. Just an example of being in a hurry mixed with road rage.

Absolutely. I’m from a rural area up north and I’ve always had manners driving too. I find it’s the same way here. I can usually tell a native West Texan by how they drive lol.

But my vote goes to New Mexican drivers. When I see a New Mexico plate I approach with caution and grip the goddamn steering wheel.

FWIW, put the video of the truck/car incident onto full screen on the desktop and I noticed some things.

1. looks like the Raptor has NY plates. Couldn't tell what the sedan had, but it was different.
2. I don't think the two vehicles actually made contact. Car crashed because he was driving too fast and too aggressively in traffic, overcorrected, and lost control.
3. Not sure that the Raptor driver has a legal obligation to stop in this case, either. Probably best he doesn't because any road rage is likely to escalate, assuming the driver of the car is okay.

Good catch. Wonder where the video is taken. Geography looks a lot like the Southern Tier in NY.

Hi Folks,

Here in Green Valley, we can tell it is Winter Visitor time(AKA SnowBirds) when you encounter a car heading at you on your side of a divided roadway.... We also have driverless cars....following one where the driver's head is below the headrest....looking between the dash and the steering wheel.

best,
Phil
