These tires are absolute garbage, I have never seen this before. My truck has 550 miles and I have already had to spend a evening repairing chips on the lower front doors because I can't drive over a single rock without these tires throwing them up.
My family and I are always up on mountains and I have to clean out my tires after every trip. Going up the trails today to go mountain bike riding but not before spending 45min cleaning out my tires!
I will be ordering new tires this week, most likely the Wildpeaks AT3s or the Ridge or Terra Grapplers. I have had all these tires and they haven't had this problem before.
Is this something that should be brought up to Ford? I know I'm not the only person who has had some damage done to their trucks because of these tires. I have never had a new vehicle before so I don't know if they even care about that sort of thing.

Yeah, I was up in the mountains the last few days for the first time, and on the way up they threw gravel all over the running boards. The 2 hour drive home I was hearing rocks hitting the entire way, and still have rocks stuck in the tread.

Damn right. I cringe when driving this thing after enjoying the day outside in the wilderness. It's my first new vehicle and I like to take care of my things and was hoping to keep this truck for years, I'd like it to stay in as good of shape as possible.

I might have missed something. What tires were those originally.

Yeah I have experienced the same thing. Even at campgrounds. Never had the issue with my Ridgegrapplers. For now though I just installed some mud flaps though, cheaper than a set of tires. These General do perform well otherwise in the mild trails I put it through so I am not in a rush to change them till they are worn.

I have them, but they still throw rocks. Not sure if there is any chips, haven't looked yet. I'm sure they reduce it as well as the running boards.
Try these,. I am on gravel road, good results.

You should try Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. Driving by a road outside a golf course, I once got a golf ball stuck in my tire. I was driving along when I noticed a thunk thunk thunk sound.

The first thing I did was take the stock Hankooks off and replaced them with the Ridge Grapplers. I don't like mud flaps as they will usually get hung up or torn off while off road. My rockers look perfect after 16,000 miles but I do have the factory steps which I'm sure helps some. The rears though are not protected and they still look brand new.
