Hi all!
I just bought a 2020 ranger lariat 4x4 with 30k miles. It was the second day with the truck and it started making this terrible noise! It is coming from the back center of the truck from what I can tell. I can recreate it by selecting 3rd in manual mode getting the rpm’s up and then letting off. It will do it at 75 or 25. And it is fairly inconsistent. So far I have checked the brakes, wheel bearings, and all the skid plates, with no luck. I’m thinking it’s gotta be the carrier bearing at this point. I have a bit left on the power train warranty, but I hear it’s not always covered. Should I just throw a one piece DS on it? Thanks in advance everyone!
