Seen here yesterday in Houghton MI. Moved a roller to the trailhead. Hiked trails and found 3 dead-falls across it.

Thanks for reminding me. I should do something to that juniper which fell due to snow weight on the yard.

Bought a work light today (or technically it got delivered today). Looks to be pretty good.

Also bought the stand and diffuser (in the picture) for it as it was on _dirt cheap_ sale for black friday (~70% off).

Just tried it in the dark of night and looks to provide solid 100 feet visibility to 360 degree area. Somewhat bright if you happen to look at it. Use case for me is extending the "daylight" when felling stuff, but requires somewhat good conditions as it's only IP20 rated.

Requires Husqvarna battery, and with mine it's 1000 lumen for 48hrs and 8000 lumen for ~7 hours :)

Some German dude has a video about it:

Just got this 7 port USB hub from Walmart. It has a switch and light for each port to connect and disconnect the pen drives individually. Had to ditch my old Dynex hub (non-powered) which was so worn out that the pen drives would constantly disconnect. Before that had a Dynex 7 porter that was A/C powered which was not really necessary.

Did my physical therapy exercises then headed out for a ride on
Thanksgiving afternoon. The trails were practically deserted except for a few hikers and bikers.

This trail will take you to the mountain foothills in the background about 2.5 miles from here...

You can see a biker to the left of the tree at the top of the hill...

The message on this sign reminded me of how appropriate it is for this day...

Best of Luck My Friend !
Hi Doc,

Well, Hematologist has told me that she only wants to see me once a year... She says it is not very likely I will have multiple myeloma even though the blood tests say I have it...it is a false positive for reasons that lead to the spike protein used in the Covid MRNA vaccines, which are not still well understood.

Anyway, in this old age, I am glad to get up every morning even though that doesn't go Snap, Crackle or Pop, Leaks!

Best,
Phil

Multiple Myeloma is often diagnosed with a lateral skull xray or cat scan

When I was in medical school, I was taught that a lateral skull x-ray would show multiple myeloma. I found this quote below.

“A lateral skull X-ray is used to diagnose multiple myeloma by visualizing characteristic "punched-out" lytic lesions, appearing as small, well-defined holes within the skull bone, which are a classic sign of the disease; this pattern is often described as a "raindrop" appearance on the lateral skull view when multiple lesions are present.”

Im glad you are doing better, life is full of these surprises luckily, you have a good hematologist. Blessings.
