not that the demographic you speak of is the only one that could possibly take advantage. i do feel this is a prime example of a participation trophy and that many others might seek the payday as well. Don't turn it into a race thing though.

I cant say how I would react, or understand how tornados work, but this is more of a life lesson, where death was possible, and he got lucky in his young and inexperienced life. Wrong place at the wrong time could be applied, but without being in his shoes we don't know if he put himself in a bad position either. Darwin almost got another.

I can't dispute what you state, but I can point out the obvious.

South of the 49th, we have a very healthy 'industry' that promotes 'ghetto paydays'. We also have a wide open southern border, with no real border enforcement at all.

A sanctimonious and bad judgement call on Chevrolet's part to provide a new vehicle(?). Waiting to see what it actually is. Perhaps Jim Bob's 'Buy Here- Pay here' Auto Emphorium in town could have helped the family out. You know, 'help local businesses' and all of that.

I'm glad the boy wasn't injured and was able to drive away - at least he had his wits about him.

you can find my view on that on random posts, to talk about it further brings the politics into a forum that doesn't allow it. People get banned for discussing politics, and for that matter racism too.
so if you want to dig, and decipher my cryptic thoughts about our political situation in Canada, fill your boots. My occasional shots have so far been allowed. I wont dive into any deep political discussion with anyone on here.
