I Put a bed rug in. Soft carpet that you can throw mulch, wood sand bags, ect on.. and sleep on while camping.

Weathertech makes a really NICE tailgate cover that is a bit plasticy which is nice so stuff can slide on it unlike rubber. Uses the factory bolts/screws and even comes with the torx head as part of the bedliner/tailgate cover kit. I ordered both but think they sell them separately and the torx only needed for the tailgate.

I ended up getting the Weathertech two weeks ago. Seems nice. I gave up trying to find the Ford cover.

I have a Rhino spray in liner, but if I didn't I think I would spray the tailgate anyway. Tuff as nails.
