Tailgate gap

i am getting the folding top bed cover. My question is with the gap between the tailgate and the rear panels how do you keep water from getting in? I am thinking of using a simple solution like foam take weatherstripping. Thoughts?

I hear you...1/8 of my garage is taken up with Ranger accessories

I got Tailgate decals on you can see them in my garage. I also order the Dash and Grill Decals. For the space between the tailgate and the bed I order a rubber mat 6.5" wide. I was worrying about hauling gravel, mulch, and much and damaging the cords that run to the tailgate camera. I will post a pic when it comes in.
