I think it might be the winter mix gas. I changed my tires to 31.6 today and couldn't notice any difference at all. I did contact livernois to see if they retune for shift points on the transmission after larger tires. I'll let you know what they say

I dont believe that they change the shift points for tires but more with the general load like most of the electronic transmissions. With the standard tunes you do get a somewhat stiffer feel but that is due to less skip shifting vs the stock settings. They do have an option for the stock shift setrings but after the transmission learns itself you are good.

Did you get through a full tank of gas yet? Give it some time and put some miles on it.

Been using livernois since about 3k miles. I've absolutely forgotten what the truck feels like when stock. Using the soft-shift towing tune 87-91octane on 87 octane. No complaints!

Based off the livernois thread- alot of guys seemed to have improved gas mileage, is that not the case with you?
When I added my tires 265/70/17 and 2.5" level I noticed about a 1-2 mpg drop. Since getting the Livernois tune I've gained it right back and even more on highway trips. You can see in my Sig I'm averaging 21.5 and my most recent trip I averaged 23.7.

I'm running 255/80/r17 AT3Ws and besides the speedometer being off I haven't felt a drastic difference. I averaged 19mpg on a big trip with tons of offroad miles on aired down tires.
If your speedo is wrong, wouldn't your MPG be wrong, too? Unless you used something other than the dash to figure it out...

I recommend going with Livernois for the better shift points, improved mileage, and speedo recalibration. Can always be flashed back to stock if you have to take it to the dealer. Also is still on sale. They have great customer service so if you give them a call you can ask away too

The added weight of your new tire/wheel combo is definitely affecting your gas mileage

This was precisely my experience when I bumped up to same tire size and lift, and it was my exact same turn around when I installed the Ford Performance Tune. I'm now back to averaging around 21.5 mpg.
