I'm having the same issues. I know this doesn't sound like third-world problems. But, when it's something you essentially bought when you purchased the vehicle and it's taken away, it's a little frustrating.
It'd be like if they decided, "Well we know you like the air conditioning, but we're going to remotely cut off your access until we decide to allow you to use it again."
This is exactly what happens with most new vehicles now.

I know Hyundai comes with a 3 year subscription to Blue Link which offers similar services as FordPass like scheduled start, remote start, and such.

After 3 years it all stops unless you pony up the monthly fee.

So far Hyundai still provides map updates for our 2019 Santa Fe. Just updated last week.

For our 2020 Ranger, now need to pay for map updates.

It's a crapshoot which nav system routes us into a swamp first... onboard or guuggle.

Does your remote start and such still work?

Or is the 3 year trial a new "innovation" for the later models?

After 3 years it's $75 per year or $9.90 per month.

MIne still works but it is hit and miss at this point with the latest Sync update. I worked fine when I left work yesterday and this morning as well.

I meant does remote start and such still work for the Hyundai.

The Bluelink app removes this after 3 years unless you subscribe.

I've never used Bluelink or remote start. At 3 years they sent warnings saying it would expire. Guess it did! ?‍♂

Thanks to this group for helping me get the demons out of my truck!
I'm now on build 23188 through cyanlabs and everything seems to be staying put finally :)
Are you using Sirius XM? Did the connectivity return to the FordPass App?

Yes I'm using serius xm (have since I bought the truck). My phone reconnected and downloaded all my contacts and Apple car play works. I haven't tried reconnecting the ford app yet, honestly forgot about it since I rarely use it. I'll let you know.

ok my ford pass was disconnected, tried to reconnect and it came back with an error.
Called ford pass and this was their instructions to reconnect.
1) while truck is running perform factory reset, when screen went black two soft resets back to back then wait for screen to load fully.
2) turn off truck, open door, lock door while open, shut door. Wait for all dash and dome lights to go out then turn on truck and wait for screen to load.
3) go to ford pass icon in truck and turn on the connectivity setting (I had 2).
4) go to phone app and copy vin number of truck, then remove vehicle from app.
5) add vehicle back to app.
6) close app completely then reopen.
7) connect vehicle in app, follow prompt on truck screen (took a couple minutes to show up) allowing app to connect etc.

Not sure I have the order perfect from memory but have to say the lady from ford pass was awesome! She was well spoken, knowledgeable and most importantly patient with me through the process. I was highly impressed with their customer service :)

Hope this helps others!

WOW, I’ve read all of the posts here. I understand everyone loves tech these days. Some legitimate complaints and concerns but the concern and complaints about connectivity and idiosyncrasies just astound me.. like dang now I have to press 2 buttons instead of none and it’s going to take a month to fix it… I realize updating can resolve other issues and break some stuff too. It’s the hyperventilation I don’t get… you know it’s going to get resolved but not in your timeframe… yeah I get the same attitude from my wife that doesn’t get technology… just how many layers and lines of code people don’t understand… plus beta testing time…
It's been an issue for over 4 months. I wouldn't consider myself a very demanding customer, but that is unacceptable. I gave up waiting on Ford to fix it and went the Cyanlabs route. All function as it should, which isn't too much to ask in my opinion.

Yup
The connectivity option in Sync sits and spins.... and spins.... and spins....
If I have a chance I'll try the formula you provided.
Plus at the same time I'll;
8)stick out my tongue
9)look out the passenger window
10)get out and jump 3 times
11)rub-my-belly while patting-my-head
12)lick the bottom of the windshield [on the inside] (Challenging but do-able)
13)hum 3 renditions of row-row-row-your boat
14)stick my finger in the power outlet [the one in the front on the right].

If this doesn't work, I'll purchase a Magic 8 Ball.

I leave my source set to my flash drive I use for my music and the system always starts using it unless my wife uses the truck and changes the source to FM radio.
I listen to my flash drive almost exclusively but about half the time when I start the truck it can't find music for a couple of minutes and then I have to change the source to USB. I also ran a test of the randomizer and while it was better than what was in my 2019 it still lost its place just after about 500 songs rather than 10 like the previous version.

Perhaps I should try turning it off before I shut the truck down rather that letting it turn off with the truck
