x2 !!! I was an AF medic for 22 yrs and an EMT after I retired. I saw some of the stuff Dr Bird invented and love reading about that kind of stuff. PLEASE, do tell !!
I helped Dr. Bird develop ventilators with Dr Robert Kirby At the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.

I had a stroke in April 2013 and for the year after rehab was all-consuming.

Nearly ten years on and some lingering impairments but I'm one of the fortunate 5% who regain blood flow in the carotid artery that was occluded.

Happiest day after two years of being made miserable with blood thinners neurontin and cholesterol lowering drugs was the neurologist telling me none of those were necessary any more.

It's been just a baby aspirin a day since then.

I presume with a medical background you'll be able to take command of your rehab.
