Looks great!

For that one spot that tore, get a bottle of this and put a drop on it to prevent it from tearing further.

My Grand Cherokee had a small crack on the side of the driver seat that I was afraid would get bigger as you got in and out of the truck.

This stuff welded it up nicely.

It feels like plastic. I bought the truck used so no idea what it looked like out of the showroom.
I think you have the factory leather upgraded wheel which does feel hard but the stitching gives it away....plastic wheel is thinner and has no stitching.

Brand new wasn't much better, mine is maybe a pinch more glossy than new in 2021. I assume it is faux leather like the seats but it did remind me of my old work van steering wheel, just a notch better than that thing.

Man, I have binged on a few of their videos, I think I am going to go this route for sure. It even hides the OEM steering wheel stitching nicely. Now to just figure out what options I want!

What does it look like? Mine looks new as I clean the leather often...

The XLT is actually leather.

You have the stitching so it's the factory leather.

It's just crappy leather.

I recently drove a new ZR2 Colorado and a Lariat Ranger.

The steering leather on both was FAR better than my Ranger leather.
IDK. i like the leather on mine. soft enough and tactile for a nice grip. works for me

My recommendation is to add some Alcantara if not 100%. It is such a posh feeling to have, and at this price even if it starts shining due to skin grease then you simply try a new one.
I thought about the stripe at the top but my ocd would drive me crazy if it was uneven by even a millimeter. ?

I am the same way about things being centered and such. I was thinking about perforated Alcantara on the sides and smooth top/bottom but maybe just smooth top and bottom and perforated leather on the sides. Not sure.

Going to wait till I get the rad and intercooler installed just in case there are unexpected cost. I know my brakes are surely going to need replacing soon and I wanted to do big brakes when that comes so another wild card. Thankfully at 60k miles my shocks still feel good.

Alcantara top/bottom. Perforated leather left/right. Grey stitch to match the upholstery.
On the site there is no option for Alcantara.

Is that the Suede?
