I've had Line-X in my current Colorado and my last Ranger and it's been great in both. Not a mark or chip in either one and I use the bed a lot for all sorts of things. I had one other Colorado between those two trucks with a drop in liner and I'll never have another one. Tons of scrapes and gouges in it and it looked like crap (but that made it match the rest of the truck!).

Not really sure, I was lucky because both trucks were bought when they were a couple years old and already had it applied.

I may have missed if it was mentioned, but it looks like the Ford logo in the front of the bed is only there with the factory applied spray in liner?

Go for a BedRug

Go for a bed rug....complete coverage of the bed and in between tailgate and bed.

Have you used one of these before? I know they show gravel in the videos but it just seems like it wouldn't hold up. I do like the flap between the bed and tailgate though. They don't currently list one for a Ranger, though.

I had one in my Tundra and will be getting one in my Ranger. Get deer blood or gas on it, just powerwash it. I had just the mat without the sides, so I could pull it if I was hauling dirt or gravel. I basically just pulled it out twice a year and powerwashed it when I was doing the patio and house. It makes it so much easier on my knees to climb in the bed.

I was told by a linex dealer that the factory just sticks that on and sprays over it. Any parts guys out there that can find a part number, I haven't been able to find it.

If I did it, I would leave it in - pulling it out for dirt or gravel would mean I'd have to scuff up the bed.

It is an intriguing idea - they do have a 30 day money back guarantee - I might have to take advantage of that and test it out (assuming they will make it for the new Ranger).
