I noticed a change when I replaced them at 75k, meaning they had degraded noticeably. They might live until 100k but they are so cheap... why?

What problems did you have before replacing them?

I’m getting around to doing mine in the next month or so. I’ve been putting it off because I have a million other projects that are distracting me lol just under 65k miles. Probably time to get ‘er done.
Any suggestions on brands? I’m not looking for any added power or anything fancy. OEM equivalent will do just fine.

Changed mine at 11,000 mi.

I'd say 58K is a good time to change them out. I bought my truck at about 52K and changed them out. They were definitely due. I didn't have much rust on Cylinder 4 but my truck came from a dry environment. I actually changed them out 2k miles later for a colder plug since I added a tune. I also recommend to get the 2.3L foam engine cover to help mitigate the water intrusion into the 4th cylinder.

I never tested Before vs. After with the plugs. I'm not sure if it would have a measurable effect or not. The only thing I can report that was noticeably different was the "crispness" of my bottom end throttle response. Which was an improvement. That may be due to a more complete fuel burn. But i'm not the expert in that area.

None, just noticed it kind of ran better after. Could have been placebo, but mine also looked pretty worn at 75k like many of the other photos on the forum

I changed the original plugs on my '20 yesterday. 48K miles, all stock except the addition of the topside engine cover early on.

I thought it was idling a little rough the other day, and I was curious.

I was having misfires and changed them at about 28k. Perfect now. Ford did change the recommended plug and I used the new plug.
