If it is in there I didn't notice, where was it built? from the shipping label it was imported to Aus.
Thanks,
Steve W
Aus spec Rangers are built in Thailand which builds for most of Oceania which mostly drives on the left but they also build LHD ones for the Philippines, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, American Samoa and Tahiti which of course drive on the right , the Ford SA plant also builds LHD and RHD ones for Africa and Europe and also has the diesel engine plant.

I like that engine more than the rest of the truck, they should put it in a Mustang. I bet it will take mods and a tune well. Anti-lag system on a production vehicle, how bout that. Last I heard only rally cars used them.
It's better than good apparently, all the reviewers are raving about it. Do a you tube search for Aus reviews. It even has an adjustable exhaust note, "offroad only" sounds about right to me!

Not bad for 6 cylinders with big wheels. It looks great!
Not bad at all!! I'd remind all though that these power/mileage numbers are based on 98 octane gas. Yup, you can pull up to the pump in Aus and put 98 Octane in your vehicle. Crazy..highest we have here available in Canada is 94.

Huh...Fun fact... see that little item below the front camera? That is a high pressure washer to keep the camera clean for after you've gone mudding.. cool.

So they take away the rear sliding window and give you a little camera washer.

I want to know about this blue thing in the background.
Also, on the pic of the V6, it the alternator at the bottom?

That's a Holden VE Ute. Unreliable junk with the 3.6 V6 in them but the bogans love them.

As mentioned by Fritz, it is not automatic AWD, but rather automatic 4WD. If the truck is detecting slipping it will auto engage the 4WD in the center transfer case. At some point after that it will auto deactivate it and return to monitoring for slippage to reengage.
Not correct at all. It is AWD, not part time 4WD. Jason at Engineering Explained has a good video on the same system in the F-150 Raptor.

We measure the octane differently, over here it's RON, and 98 RON is about the same as 94 as you measure it in the US.

Besides the decals and fancy trim, what makes it a Raptor? Ford F150 Raptors have deferent body panels from a standard F150. This Raptor Ranger looks like any 6G Ranger. Are you paying a couple thousand extra for the Raptor tagging, like people do for the Roush tagging?
It's 100mm wider in the track, coil sprung rear, Fox Live Valve shocks all around, the front and rear 'fenders' are different (125mm wider overall), the grill is different, the chassis is completely different (read stronger), the engine is the V6 ecoboost, it has a front differential lock, the list goes on.

it has wider fenders and most likely sporting fox suspension thats almost mid travel with beefed up arms thats designed for more high speed running plus as someone already showed its got a bigger motor thats designed to be faster so no it wont be a standard ranger with a decal kit
