I think my snow plow saga has reached its end. The Meyer DrivePro plow I originally had installed led me to hate it with the power of 10,000 suns. The mount system is the worst I have ever used and dismounting it is even harder. It has now been replaced with a 7' Boss HTX.
I had previously installed the VeePeak OBDII dongle paired with the OBD Fusion app to monitor engine and transmission temp. I noticed that the truck ran much warmer with the 7' Boss plow than it did with the 6'8" Meyer. Fortunately, I won't be driving around with the plow mounted.
The Boss mount system is stupidly easy even compared to my previous favorite SnowEx.
