Finally went more than an hour from our house for the first time in months! We were supposed to go camping, but the state park we had reservations at hadn't opened yet. So we decided to head back to where I grew up. Marquette in the UP of Michigan. Here we are sitting in the sun looking out on the harbor and the old ore dock after just getting a nice paddle in. It was a little chilly, air temp of 55F, water temp of just above freezing still (Lake Superior is always cold), and a nice crisp north wind. But still super fun!
