UPDATE: The wheels and tires are on. I love the ride and the look but it was bi**h to install those BDS crash bars.. I’m happy with the end result. But definitely not done yet.

Finally got time to paint my emblems color match paint and flat.

Went to local paint store and had them mix color code for the truck Sherwin Williams and put in cans the flat is just a can of paint they carry the brand was advantage color flat black.

5 Step Paint Correction - Just bought it.

When I was washing the truck yesterday I saw something odd. The light hit the inside of the rear door jamb and I saw a lot of blue metallic in the paint that doesn't show up on the exterior of the vehicle. Any ideas why my door jamb looks like this? Does anyone else's?

Mike My guess is that the door jambs are cut in manually and they were burning up Tuxedo black paint that was left over.

Looking for a picture of shadow black with tailgate decals installed. I’m not looking for anything real flashy, but was thinking of a few shades lighter than the truck. Any suggestions?

Amazing job! I was not aware the emblems are a two-piece. I could have noticed that when I've wrapped mine. I am tempted to peel the decal off and check, although it was not easy at all to wrap them.

Mark, The truck looks great! Is yours a 2wd or 4wd? What lift did you use? I am installing the Eibach lift on my 2WD this afternoon. If yours is 2WD I am going to 2.5" lift.
