HI Marty & Tracy,

I saw my first Saber in Green Valley on my way to the Quest Lab for my blood test. Guy driving saw me as he turned right and I got the left turn arrow to follow him. He saluted me with a thumbs up as I turned into to the Medical plaza. Saber is a truly stunning color...

Hey Phil , I am surprised Ford is stopping Saber color . They are adding an orange color ; sadly . Never liked school buses .

Marketing decisions have always baffled me...these color changes are quite surprising and to me do not make sense at all.

Hi Phil,

I'm guessing a cost saving for Ford? The new Bronco color is orange and Ranger is made in the same factory (if I remember correctly) so it seems the bean counters got involved with this one.

Hi Dave,

Could be bean counter related, but the color call is Marketing's to make. It could be Marketing had heavy Bean Counter pressure to go with cheaper colors.

Hi Phil,

That makes sense. Get rid of the more expensive metallic and combine both vehicles to the same color. As much as I love my Saber color I would want a different color on my next Ranger. My second choice Lightning Blue also got nixed. ?

Yes, it is! But like I say, the Ranger looks beautiful in EVERY color to me!

I'm not too sad about them stopping Saber color. Feel bad for those who might have wanted that color, but it'll be nice to kind of be unique(except in my town where there are possibly four other Sabers besides mine).

I'm lucky as I still have not seen another Saber around here. Nice to have a unicorn. ?

Saw many on the Tasca lot but never have seen another on the streets .
