Running Board Bolt Size?

Hey friends!

Odd request. I purchased some stock running boards from someone who removed them for power running boards. When I picked them up I totally forgot to get the original mounting bolts. I called my local Ford dealer, and they claimed they don't even list them in their database. I don't know if that's the case and didn't want to push it.

Does anyone happen to know the bolt and thread size? Figure I'll just go to Home Depot and buy some.

You can go to parts.ford and put in your VIN and search for "side step".

I think this is the common part number for Bolt HB1.

I would avoid HD as you may want an automotive grade bolt there.

Thanks! I had no idea that site existed. Just searched my dealer and they show in stock. I knew they had to have them, seemed strange they didn't have them.

EDIT: Just ordered off the Ford website as I called my local dealer was still unable to find them, even with a part number. Maybe time for a new dealer.
