Rubbing after installing leveling kit?

Hello,
So I have a ‘19 stx fx4.
I put 245/75r17 wildpeaks on the stock wheels with no issues or rubbing.
Yesterday I had a 2.5” leveling kit and fuel vector 17x8.5s with +7mm offset installed. Now my tires rub on the crash bars at full lock primarily in reverse.

From what I’ve read the leveling kit and a less positive offset should have the opposite effect right?
It’s not a huge deal, if just rather not remove the crash bars.
Any insight is appreciated!

Your offset is what is getting you. that pushes the wheels out further than stock but causes the tire to swing further. in other word it makes a bigger circle and the tire goes further forward or backward at full lock.

Hi Daryn,

Yep....just your legs and feet in a side impact accident.....Your choice. For me, not the risk that nothing like that will happen. BTW the aftermarket ones have likely not been tested in a side impact and may be just a bad as no crash bars....we simply do not know.
