It might just be lack of heat/summer sun but the rubber bed mat thing I got to hold me over until I get a spray in won't lay flat. Looks great otherwise. Just sort of annoying.. doesn't hurt function.

Other than laying heavy stuff on it, tried that. Tips to get the "memory" out of it being rolled up?

Read something about boiling water as a solution but don't want to destroy it.

Mat came from a company that might have a loose association with dampers....

Have you tried flipping it over?

No reason to get rid of it after you get your spray-in. I have that configuration and it's a nice combination of impact resistance on the floor and scratch resistance on the walls.

It sits with the front lip in the air. Seem like a good way to accidentally give the mat to the car behind me at speed.

A gift I don't think they want. The stuff is pretty thick/heavy. It takes me standing in it or multiple bricks to get it flat. One doesn't do it.

Good point. If anything it is nicer on the knees when in the back.

Mine did the exact same thing. What I did was grab industrial strength glue and covered the entire bed of my truck. That sucker didn’t move at all after. Problem solved but the guys doing my bed lining were pissed as hell when they had to remove it.

just lay it in there. The heat from the sun will flatten it out

Could try applying silicone adhesive to the edges of the mat and keep it weighed down til it dries..

It'll stay flat but won't be overly difficult to remove if need be.

I'd just wait until it warms up and lay it out in the sun. Mine was like that and once I left it out for a day it flattened right out. Of course adding a damper will help it too. ?

Mine has a pronounced hump right about dead center. mat came from the same place I think. I am pretty sure its memory from being rolled up. I figured the hot sun this summer will settle it down, then I bought a tonneau cover and put that on. Solved the problem... now I dont see the hump

You don't want to use a silicone adhesive to attach anything to a vehicle, rv, or whatever you may want to paint in the future.
Silicone, after you remove it, will leave an invisible film that is damn near impossible to remove unless you use a specific chemical. Pretty much nothing will stick to whatever that film is on. Worst possible adhesive you can use on a vehicle.
You could use some pro grade double sticky sided carpet tape.

Just wait till the weather heats up. Mine had some curl, but after a day or two in the summer it was completely flat.

Trust me, it will be much better on your knees. I have the factory spray-in, and it's rough on my old knees when crawling around. Plus the ridges in the bed don't help one bit. I'm looking for a bed mat right now. :)

Maybe grab your hair dryer, and heat that thang up. Hopefully it will lay flat then. Keep us updated. I was looking at one from that "company to named later" myself. :bandit:

I've never had an issue with this? I usually use acetone and a scuff pad.

Granted, I don't know how bedliner would adhere.
