I've been tempted to pull mine off and see how much cutting and piping would be necessary to let'er breathe through those holes. Question is how much structural metal is back there and how much is just sheet metal.

Decided to mod my Air Design (not RTR) vents. Painted magnetic, replaced the screen mesh with a sheet metal mesh, and added an amber led.

Sorry these are the Air Design/Ford ones! I’ll correct my post. I was originally going to go with RTR but came across some prepainted Ford vents on eBay. The vent mesh felt cheap so I decided to swap it with higher quality sheet metal.
