I just purchased a set of Rough Country 2" leveling struts which will be here tomorrow. I called a local reputable front end alignment shop and they can't do the alignment until Oct. 13th. I would like to know from somebody that has bought these actual struts how much the alignment changed, so I know whether I can put them on now, or wait until the day before the alignment. I'm only asking because I'd rather not put any unnecessary wear on the front tires. Real world experience only please, not just opinions. Thanks in advance for your help.

I bought my truck from a dealer in MD that did all the work, when I got the truck it had 13k on it, I noticed what looked like to me is some ware and took it to a Mr.Tire in upstate NY, they said They didnt have the file for their machine but they adjusted it anyway to Tremore specs and within 3k my tires were down to the cords!, I got new tires (even a little bigger to a Big-E-Tire all the guys that worked there had lifted trucks so I knew I at the right place LOL the guy looked out in the parking lot and knew how far our it was % before he put it on the rack, they did a good job I have 30k on these tires

Yes, get it aligned right after the install. I had mine redone after I got bigger tires and it was out of spec again. Tires will last so much longer and the steering should be straight.
