This looks like a REAL roll bar that attaches through the bed and to the frame...

You really seem to like knocking the "roll bars" and their functionality, or lack thereof. What's wrong with just liking they way they look? It's really no different than putting a tire track down your hood. Just sayin'.

I read it as sarcastic, because someone knocked the OPs choice saying it wasn't a true roll bar.

saw a light bar on ebay that was affordable. cant decided if i hate it or just really dislike it... but it would mount up some lights. vevor or some china commie branded something. i like the rear light sots. the side running light look stupid. and the shiny sheet metal screws on black looks kinda stupid too. idk its kinda like a girl with an ugly face but cute personality and good body... did i mention its about 200 on ebay free shipment.

the more i look at it i think some black hard ware or pop rivets and some lights on top, rear facing cubes and then some side cubes and it might be ok...

Well I installed a black horse “roll bar” and a 5 pod cross link bar from diode dynamics and here is the result.

yep 200 will buy a pair of rigid or baja. that bar from the post is on ebay for 190 something. not a bad deal if someone is going that route.
