Pieces of shit. The ones that rent a BnB and then do criminal activity. The lawless. The kind of people who think they are above the law and decide to put their lawless ways above those around them, above those that have chosen to be law abiding.

Seems to me like the comment I was questioning was a backhanded remark at a demographic that is different than his.

Gunfights.. yeah.. no argument from me.. they're clearly scum. But why is he so sure that those individuals wouldn't normally be there?? How is THAT ONE nieghborhood somehow impervious to the presence of a scofflaw homeowner??





if we can figure out what keeps that neighborhood shrouded in a mystical cloud of righteous security... and couple that shit with the banning of airbnb... then I'd say we've likely put an end to all crime everywhere!!!

I'll go out on a limb here and say the reason "why is he so sure that those individuals wouldn't normally be there?" is based on what he wrote.

there was a party that ended in an actual gun battle between a car in the street and some people in the house.

Now the sleepy little mountain town where I live.. doesn't have gun battles between cars and houses.

And I'm betting neither does @FunInTheSun, or else he wouldn't have posted on a forum about it.
