Remove Ford Ranger Tremor Stripes?

Has anyone removed the factory stripes from a Ford Ranger Tremor? I am currently looking at a 2022 Tremor with red and black stripes on the side and hood and will not buy it unless I can get the stripes removed. Are the stripes painted on or are they a vinyl like adhesive that can be removed with heat and solvents? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Back to your question: the graphics are vinyl decals.

FWIW, I have got nothing but compliments regarding the graphics on mine.

Well, you do have a nice looking truck. I like it. I think the decals set the truck apart from other trucks you see on the road.

I don't even have to guess. They're decals.
I'll bet they can be taken off with a hot hair dryer.

if they are anything like the lame stickers that came on mine, they will come right off. wait for a sunny day and peel away. there wasn't any residue left at all

Those were like an $800.00 increase when I was looking at tremors
I turned down 2 tremors with paint I liked better because of those stickers.

I know this is an old thread, but i have a question.
What if the truck is a year or 2 old? Would the paint underneath the stripes be different? I would think the sun would fade the paint around the stipes, leaving areas where you could see the difference.
I've almost bought 2 different tremors, but don't want the graphics. Just not a fan.

I have taken stripes off vehicles that are 10 years old and have spent that time outside. Once off and the area has been polished I have not ever seen any difference in the color.

second this, if you notice any difference in the area the decals were I would wager it would be a quick panel polish and the difference disappears.

it really depends on the vehicle though, garage kept and rarely driven or parked outside in the high altitude sun. . . .
