Redline Shifter Boot

Anyone make this mod?
Was it easy to do?
Any cautions getting the factory boot removed from the console?
Any hints / tips for removing the boot from the console?
What glue did you use?

I did the Redline parking brake boot, but not the shifter boot. I believe that the Ford shifter boot is already leather, if that makes any difference.

Yep, did my shifter and e-brake.

The shifter is actually easier, especially if you did your e-brake.

The material comes off the plastic rings with a little pull all the way around.

Pull up around shift lever, move up material to find small phillips head screw on front side of lever up near the top (side facing dash), then slide shifter off and then reverse the process after installing the new boot,

They both match now and look great!.

Why didn't he just use the same tool that he pried up with to pop the old boot off the plastic?

I did my park brake. I used gorilla super glue. Was pretty easy.
