Reconnect glovebox damper-2020

They keep deleting / downgrading the quality of parts all in the name of saving money, but they charge you more for less.

I loved that on my scab they 'deleted' the rear folding headrests... but then had a recall to add them back due to something with rear car seats. I had done the hack to mine to enable the fold function, but I'll take a free set of official folding units, thank you very much.

The damper and glove box light were deleted on my 2020... ?

The good news is that it is preventing muscle atrophy ?and also I was able to devise a custom light set-up...

Strange, my Oct Build 2020 still had both. The only thing I know was deleted was the folding rear headrests, but as mentioned, I got those back.

ADDED: I have a lariat, so maybe that's why.

Mine was built in Michigan, June 2020. Also the bed tie downs were deleted. My rear headrests were replaced on recall 21C24 and I think that the replacements are foldable. Maybe deletions depend on which model it is.

Oh yeah, 2 tie downs were missing on mine, too. Michigan build, Oct 2020.

I remember seeing you-tube video on it but mine does not have the damper although I do have the glovebox light, so the manual won't be scared of the dark.
I had my glovebox down just to inspect the mouse entry issues others were reporting, I have the mount points for the damper and was considering possibly adding it back on but thought why create more of a hassle when accessing when it works fine without the damper anyway.

Now you don't have to worry about muscle atrophy ?...

You need to get a couple of horses to pull it. The gas tank will cost you extra and the driver seat is a dealer installed item which will also cost you more.
