Same here. Been in the shopping cart more than a few times.That's my approach too. But having said I thought about doing the same thing as OP and decided against it, but I don't know for how long. Eventually I should run out of other Ranger things to blow my life savings on and circle back to the red tow hooks. ???

Soooo, I think I have just lost it. I just ordered and spent almost $100.00 on a set of red replacement tow hooks when the black tow hooks that came with my Ranger are still just like new. So, I spent $100.00 because I like the color red rather than black?

Well, you can look at it this way. In a few months when inflation makes those tow hooks $400.00, you can look at it that and say you saved 75%.OK, in all my adult years, after making some teenage and young adult bad decisions, I thought I was pretty logical with my spending habits. This is what it looks like now, an in progress project. That is why I have to stay off this site. With my 06 all I did was put a used truck cap and a bug deflector on, With the 22 I’m already buying stuff I think I need and justifying as it’s my retirement vehicle.

LOL, I only have had my Ranger for 5 weeks and already have $1500 into it. Funnier yet, I have $9000 worth of parts in my shed for a Bronco I don't even have and probably want have until 2023. Jim you should know by now you never run out of things to buy. Heck 3 years later and I just bought new Eibachs and a bug deflector in the past 2 weeks. Just get the red tow hooks now and enjoy them sooner. Tell your wife it was peer pressure on R5G.That's my approach too
