You should be able to with no problems. If anything they sell a mount if you want to mount the rotopax on the inside but not an issue for the outside.

Do you know if you can hang them and still have a roof tent? Rotopax are 13.25". It doesn't appear to me that they would without elevating the tent at least 1.25". I don't really want to go up to the 18" rack.

To my understanding the rotopax is meant to be set on the side of those racks. You should be able to have a roof-top tent right on top of it at the same time to

The vast majority of RTTs won’t be as wide as the bed rack so they won’t interfere with the rotopax. Yes, the rotopax will extend up above the bottom of the RTT as in the below pic from MaxModular, but you’ll just want to make sure they’re mounted on the opposite side from the tent folding out, aka the ladder side. With that, you would NOT be able to have rotopax on both sides of the bed rack along with a RTT, this setup only supports them on one side of the rack. For reference, that’s only a 10” rack similar to the one in my build thread.

Probably depends on the setup you are going with. My preferred option is a bigger fuel tank(not available at this time yet) and that is something that will be next year as long as things go the way id like them too. I myself have also thought on plenty of ideas and thought of the rotopax too. A nice system when you think about it but like anything else it isnt for everyone.
