Just a quick question for comparison, I've searched through the threads and can't find what I'm looking for.

I'm borrowing a pic from a previous post on the RB20's, which are wider I know and appear to but up closer to the rockers and stick out 4 1/4 in or so as seen in this pic

The RB20 Slims are narrower and what I can tell is most of that difference is taking away from the inside edge of board to the rocker.

2 questions

1. How much of a difference is it on the outboard edge?

2 How much adjustment (in and Out) do the brackets allow?

I like the standard RB20 but want to compare the 2 boards, as far as how far the Slims stick out , it appears from pics that they are just even with the tires (side view)

Thanks

Slims are 2 inches narrower from the product description, so the math would suggest it sticks out that much less. If you actually want to use it as a step, I would get the standard.

DESCRIPTION
The RB20 Slim Line Running Boards offer the same heavy duty toughness as the original RB Series, but with a slimmer design that fits tighter along the cab for increased ground clearance when off-roading. Constructed from 16-gauge zinc-coated galvanized steel, the Raptor-inspired boards were built to protect your panels from flying debris while providing a full-length step platform. The modern, bullet-stamped design is 5 1/2 inches across at its widest point (compared with 7 1/2 inches of the original RB20) and are offered in cab-length sizes that fit most popular trucks, Jeeps and SUVs. RB20 Slims Boards come with a Limited Lifetime warranty on materials and construction and a 5 year warranty on the Textured Black Finish.

I have a narrow 2 car garage and wife's Jeep - parked next to truck, I think the standard board will hamper her Driver's door opening (swing) I think in above pic the Non-Slim version the poster stated that they were installed (sucked all the way in)

Well playing with Level and Tape Measure like in pic above, I think the Slims would look better and using the Stock Tire's as Ref for Looking at Pics of Slims Installed (Ref Borrowed Pic from another member) below

They will be pretty close match to the most outward contour of the door panel, thus giving a small footprint of step and hopefully some door ding protection it just will be close. I may just get these and shim out 1/2" or so
