RAPTOR caps on Steelies......WHA?

So just for fun I ordered a couple Raptor caps to put on my Steelies.
The idea was to do one side and see what it looked like. Really good actually...but then

I put the second one on the other side in the front also.......
Lock out hubs on a 2022 Ranger????

Everyone who's seen it thinks it actually looks Ol' Skool - using them on the
front only since they look like locking hubs.

That does look nice. Makes me wish I had steelies even more now.

It looks really nice front and back but "front only" really gives you the impression they are locking hubs.

I used a 2 1/2" hole saw centered on cap on the drill press then barrel sanded until snug fit.

If you check older photos, you'll see the back looked similar.. I assume for a rounded esthetic. The fronts would have a small black triangle (arrow) after the D, pointing to the outside.

I guess I could have been a real smart a$$ and rigged this 1999 Ranger locking hub up to the front center caps.
But too much extension from cap crown to get it to spin straight out on a friction clip type attachment cap.

Even gutted it still has some weight to it

i like it! i love the steels . im old , yes. but steel wheels are still da poop. tough cheap and easily fixed painted etc.
