Mine sat there for a week, so don't despair. It sounds like it is pretty normal for them to sit for a while.

I am in a good place. My truck went into production on 2/11 and stayed there until 4/2. Waiting a week for it to move again is a blink to me.

Any idea why yours has been sitting so long? Mine went into production 3/13 and continues to be “In Production”. It was due to get to me a week ago.

The dealer said he was contacting the Ford rep to initiate and “track and trace”. That was 3 days ago. Still no info. Frustrating process.

I had a double whammy. First, it was the steering wheel supply shortage, followed by the bed liner spray in back up. I had three different sources checking and they all said it was the perfect storm. I chatted with a retired line worker and he told me it was actually tougher to pass my truck through because there were additional inspections. There were a few of us from here in the same predicament and now trucks are moving along. My original estimated delivery date was 2/24 and now it’s 5/1. I’m ok with it as this will be my one and only custom ordered vehicle. Once is curious, twice is foolish. Your truck should start moving on in the process soon.

Thanks for the info. I hope it moves soon. I was planning to take it to the NC mountains for a week starting tomorrow morning. I guess the good news is I will have to make another trip when it comes in.

Does Convoy on the sticker mean the truck is going to ship by truck or can it be a truck to a railway?

It's delivered by truck to your dealership, and unless you live within 100 or so miles from Wayne, MI, it's going by train.

I called my dealer about the status of my truck and here is what he sent me:

My truck went to the rail yard last Monday, the tracker has 11 days next to the in transit marker. I’m guessing that’s the estimate once it’s riding the rails. Thoughts?

This news also solves a widow sticker mystery. Every time the date on the very bottom on my truck’s window sticker changed, it moved along in the process...

Hmm. that is interesting. I just checked my window sticker date and it changed to today's date. Friday, dealer texted and said it was on the ramp in Michigan. Wonder if something changed.

It's on the train. Looks like it stopped at the Mustang plant in Flat Rock to pick some cars up.
