Tone is the same, volume is the same. Removing that small section of pipe won't change much. You might hear it more in the cabin since the exhaust is ending under the bed so it might pick up a little NVH.

Love the color of your truck! Which tip color did you go with? (I know the answer is diamond black though...)

I actually went with the chrome tip. I want to see how the one accent point looks, and if it is too bad, I can duracoat them a dark gloss grey like the magnetic color.
