Your beatiful RR interior would be ruined before you alternator here

That's one of the beauties of an old Wrangler: Pop out the floor plugs and hose it out.

His is a Rubicon and he was locked front and rear.

The ruts were too deep (he has 32" tires, A/T to boot) and his axles got high centered.

I've had my Ranger in a very similar situation drove out the other side and kept going. Never had any charging problems. Maybe I just got lucky as it's happened 3 or 4 time out chasing birds through the fields.

You drove on through though.

In this situation, the Ranger alternator would've been submerged in the muck until getting winched out.
