Ranger Raptor Bed Length - Same as Ranger?

Hi all,

I’m trying to get the correct length for the bed of the Ranger Raptor to determine what tonneau cover it can accommodate – one that will support a rack for a RTT and perhaps some recovery gear.

I like the Retrax xr that accommodates Yakima hardware… but not sure if it will fit, as Retrax only do covers for Rangers. One would think that getting the length of the bed would be as simple as looking at the specs sheet – but there is some variation:

For the Ranger Raptor bed length, the Aus site give a value of: 1743 mm

NZ is: 1549 (same as the Ranger Double cab in the US)

UK and NZ are close, but Aus is different enough that there would likely be a length issue. I assume that they are not sized differently across countries.... So does anyone know the bed length in actuality?

Hey Mick, don't know if this helps...Ford USA Body Builders Guide, see page 7 for box dimensions. If you have a Raptor (lucky bugger) you might be able to compare.

G'day mate,

The tub is identical to a dual cab Ranger inside, the latest model (20.75) has a spray in bed liner, otherwise the dimensions are the same. The top lip of the sides, and the entire tailgate is the same, the only differences are the wheel arches.

Anyone has a bed tray fitted in his ranger raptor? I was told at ford Cyprus that this is not offered by them.
