These production videos are always fun to watch. While there's still some physical workers on the line, it's amazing how much robotics have taken the place of humans now. IIRC I think they said when running at full capacity (and no parts constraints) they can pump out somewhere around 400/day.

An interesting history. Most interesting is the effort to make the facility self sufficient power wise. No big secret the National power generator ESKOM is in shambles.

‘Green Energy’ seems to be useful only on small scales, if that. The Daimler facilities I was connected to before retirement all have ‘Socially acceptable solar arrays’ that are little more than ‘feel good window dressing’.

I see South Africa ‘reverting to the norm’ - so sad.

I agree with that. Just hoping for a minor pop in price so I can grab some profits.

Look at that tow package, completely different than the one we get in the US. I am always amazed how therw are minor changes like that for different markets. Need to make the departure angle to compete with other manufacturers and look clean. ROW just needs a solid work truck.
