28k for a nearly 32k sticker. Don't know what plan or what they did. Don't care.. it matched the Maverick I had on orders price so we had a deal.

That uniform outside of a heavy military area helps me thinks.

In February, I paid about $1800 less than MSRP for my Ranger XL STX off the lot. No doc fees, no Simonize or other add-ons. I also have a Maverick on order from them for invoice. Dealership in Jasper Indiana. Not all dealers are squeezing their customers.

I bought my 21 at MSRP here in Canada last May. No crazy mark up but they did have 1000.00 dealer added accessories they wanted to charge me (drop in liner, wheel locks and tailgate lock for 1k?). I kindly told them I didn’t want them and they could kindly remove those items or give them to me free. They choose the latter (it would have cost them more to fix the paint scuffs from the drop in line than to give it to me free no doubt). I probably wouldn’t get away with even that now.

I ordered a new 2022 XL STX FX2 right at the dealer, got the MSRP and a $1,000.00 rebate credit. The negotiations stopped there, despite my best efforts, including telling the salesperson that if he couldn't do better then I wasn't really interested. I didn't do a trade in. Thought I did just ok but it could have been worse. Ordered in April 2022, picked up in October 2022. No issues with the entire process. I was prepared to pay MSRP as listed on Ford's website so the rebate was nice. The dealer called me when the truck arrived and asked me if I still wanted it?!? I have no doubt they would have slapped some different wheels on it, maybe a bed cover, and sold it for 5k over sticker. And someone would have gladly paid it, too.

Mine 21 tremor sticker was less than specing the same truck out on the ford website.
No idea how. There was some sort of rebate, plus another 500 for the 1st responder program.

There is no reason to pay over sticker and even sticker unless you are dumb and just want to give away money.
I drove 2 hours to get mine. And if I could not have found what I wanted at a price I wanted.
I'd still be driving my old f150.
