Ranger 4X4 vs 2WD Height

Does the ability to get into the pickup change? I'm referring to someone who has mobility issues. In other words, is a 4X4 taller than the 2WD in reference to the ground and the chair. I've searched and cannot find the stats.

The 2WD and the 4WD have the same suspension and ride height. Keep an eye out if you're looking at used 4wds. Because some of them might sit higher if it has a leveling kit installed.

Is the leveling kit a OEM add-on? Are we referring to the ability for the trailer hitch to level? This would have the towing capacity add-on.

The leveling kit is aftermarket. It just lifts the front up to sit level with the rear. It's mostly just for looks. But they're pretty popular.

They also help with clearance issues for oversize tires.

As Don said though, it only matters if looking at a used Ranger. If you are buying new, it would be very unlikely to have a leveling or other lift kit installed.
