Rain Sensor Wipers Malfunctioning

No matter how rainy it is, my rain sensor wipers are always going nearly full speed, even when I adjust them to be as little sensitive as possible. I'll be parked, in a light drizzle, and they'll be going non-stop. But then occasionally when I'm driving, they'll work just fine. Anyone else have this problem and know of a fix?

They may be turned off and are functioning as regular intermetent wipers. They can be enabled via the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel I believe.
